(Europe)–Meanwhile, missionaries are desperately needed in Europe in light of a new study released recently. According to Idea News in Germany, one in five Europeans have lost all trust in the church. The report cites 44-percent hold the church in high esteem. Churches enjoy the highest reputation in Finland as 67-percent say they have confidence in churches. Martin Luther’s home country, Germany, has the dubious distinction of being the country with the lowest respect for the church at only 36-percent.
