(Haiti)–Meanwhile, a partnership is allowing scripture to get into the hands of the neediest people in the world. Bibles for the World is partnering with Food for the Poor to provide Bibles for people being helped by Food for the Poor. Bibles for the World’s John Pudaite explains a new program they’re considering. “They have a need for 200,000 New Testaments in the Creole language for the country of Haiti, which we all know is such a desperate needy country. And, then they asked me for another 100,000 New Testaments – 50,000 in Spanish and 50,000 in English for use in their prison ministries.” Pudaite says they need many people to get involved in this project. “We will be looking to raise funds for the project for 250,000 New Testaments in the Creole language as well as for the additional needs there and in the prison ministries in Jamaica. 10-dollars would provide four New Testaments.”
