(USA)–Next, Christians are being asked to pray for special Christmas television programming this week. Coral Ridge Ministries is scheduled to air a program called Scrooge and Marley. Jerry Newcomb is with Coral Ridge Ministries. “Last year, we made a documentary called, ‘Who is this Jesus’ and we had 12.3 million viewers for that. We have now made a made for t-v movie called ‘Scrooge and Marley’. And, it’s obviously based on “A Christmas Carol”, but it’s also based a book that I co-wrote with Dr. D. James Kennedy called “What if Jesus Had Never Been Born.” ” Newcomb says the message is that it’s never too late to come to Christ. “It’s too late for Marley, but it’s not too late for Scrooge. Once you die it’s to late, but before you’re dead, even if you’ve been a terrible person. The Lord and his forgiveness is so great, that just like the thief on the cross, people can actually have death-bed conversions. And, they’re real.” The program airs Christmas Eve on the PAX Network.
