(Zimbabwe)–Meanwhile, Baptist World Aid, the relief and development arm of the Baptist World Alliance, has sent 30-thousand dollars to Zimbabwe and Malawi to support their drought relief programs. Millions of people are going hungry, as famine looms. The initial goal is to provide food, but then also to work with the communities as they develop greater food security and self-sustainability. The BWA unites believers worldwide, helps in world evangelism, responds to people in need and defends human rights.
