(India)–And finally, despite opposition to Christians the Gospel is grabbing the attention of Hindus in India. Recently, Bibles for the World handed out tracts, new testaments and Bibles to Hindus attending the “Cleansing Festival” in Allahabad. Ministry President Rochunga Pudaite says despite their devotion to millions of Hindu gods, Hindus are eager to learn about Christ and God’s plan of salvation. Pudaite says more workers and Bibles are needed now as every day 300-thousand Indian people die without ever hearing the Gospel.
