International (MNN) — It’s an international ministry that reaches out to women with the compassion and hope of Christ. As such, Project Hannah is a crucial and needed outreach to women living in spiritual darkness. But Trans World Radio thought they would have to end Project Hannah because they lacked funding for it.

Gracia Burnham, former New Tribes missionary and author of In the Presence of My Enemies, had a growing burden on her heart for Muslim women. She and her husband, Martin, had been held hostage for a year by a militant Muslim group in the Philippines, and her husband was eventually killed by the group. But Gracia’s heart of compassion desired to reach Muslim women for Christ. A friend asked her if she knew about the Women of Hope broadcast of TWR’s Project Hannah.

Gracia found out more details and approached the board of the Martin and Gracia Burnham Foundation to see if they could help. The approval was given to fund Project Hannah for a year.

Just in time, God provided the money to keep Project Hannah on the air and to continue broadcasting the hope of Christ to women in over 25 language groups.

Now, many suffering women can to hear about Christ’s love and know the hope found in Him. For more information about Project Hannah, go to www.projecthannah.org.
