Vision continues to grow the church in Bulgaria.

By June 12, 2006

Bulgaria (MNN)–Bulgaria has emerged from Communism’s yoke, but remains strongly influenced by the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, today.

In addition, due to the economic hardships, churches have used humanitarian aid as a tool to reach many people with the Gospel.

They are responding, too. Churches are growing, and this is where the partnersship with SEND Internationalcomes in.

Recognizing a growing desire among evangelical churches to evangelize and plant new churches throughout the country, SEND launched several mission teams.
Those missionaries worked closely with evangelicals in Bulgaria in a number of ministries.

Today, they have come alongside the Alliance for Saturation Church Planting to provide training for pastors and Christian workers involved in evangelism and church planting in the region.

SEND also reports that one of their church partners in Bulgaria will soon be moving into a new church facility.

Please pray that the church will quickly impact the community around them and that through the church, many people will come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
