Tragedy strikes Christian Resources International.

By January 20, 2005

USA (MNN) — A United States based organization that provides Christian resources to believers around the world is mourning the death of one of their workers.

Christian Resources International based in Michigan says 27-year-old Jason Eldridge of Owosso was returning from Grand Rapids with a shipment of donated resources from Radio Bible Class and Baker Book House, when he was involved in an accident. Blinding fog is being blamed for the chain-reaction, 200-vehicle accident, which also claimed the life of a teenage boy from Holt, Michigan.

CRI’s Fred Palmerton says Eldridge leaves behind his wife and seven month old son.

The accident highlights the need to pray for all Christian workers wherever they’re serving. Pray for the Eldridge family and for CRI workers. Contributions can be made to CRI in Eldridge’s honor, who was eulogized as a committed Christian who loved providing Christian resources to believers overseas for evangelism and discipleship needs.

Most of the Christian literature was salvaged from the crash. If you’d like to contribute, send your gifts to:
