EBM touching lives in Argentina

Argentina (MNN)–Evangelical Baptist Mission is helping to provide Biblical training for those Christians in the country of Argentina.

EBM President Dr. Paul Jackson has been teaching some classes at the Bible Institue in Buenos Aires. They are asking for prayer for the young men and women who are being trained as well as the Barry Courts family as they lead this ministry.

Several churches have been planted in Argentina. The New Life Baptist Church in Balcarce was recently dedicated. Don and Lois Harris were praying that God would send them 80 folks for the special inauguration and around 100 came. The church is still looking for a pastor to lead the congregation.

There are several opportunities to share the Gospel message in Argentina. Dissatisfaction with the traditional church has left the people open to change.

Argentina has fewer missionaries per capita than any other South American country and there is an immediate need for couples to work in church planting and evangelism in Argentina. Bible institute teachers and teachers for MK’s are also in great need.
