Evangelistic outreach underway in Angola

Angola (MNN) — An American evangelist is in Angola, Africa proclaiming the message of hope to a needy country.

Evangelist Sammy Tippit and his wife praying that God will work in an incredible way. The nation has been devastated by war. For more than two decades, there’s been fighting. But peace has filled the nation for the past couple of years. Because of that, Sammy Tippit Ministries was asked to conduct a major evangelistic thrust in the capital city.

Tippit is asking you to pray. Tippit says, “This will be a historic meeting. We had a
contract on the national stadium. But the Angolan Olympic team preempted us and we have lost the stadium. Therefore, we’ll be meeting in the National Bull Ring in the center of the capital. Even though it holds 25,000 people, they’re saying that I may need to preach two to three times daily in order to accommodate the crowds.

Tippit is asking people to pray. “We believe that God is going to do a great work. But there’s also a great spiritual battle taking place.”
