Ministry growth and outreach in South Africa, prayer is needed.

By September 6, 2005

South Africa (MNN) — In South Africa, nearly one in five people are infected with AIDS. Thousands of parents are dying daily, leaving behind countless numbers of orphan children who are desperately trying to survive.

Bethesda Outreach Ministries, an outreach of Evangelical Baptist Missions, is ministering to the needs of those AIDS orphans, providing education, a home and hope for the future for these children.

Working together with local churches, Bethesda places orphans in loving homes with godly South African parents, and hopes to instill in these children a knowledge and love of Jesus.

Bethesda’s Board meets this week. Pray for wisdom as they hold meetings and make decisions about the ongoing ministries of Bethesda.
