Ministry teams ready themselves for work in Jamaica.

Jamaica (MNN)–Global Aid Network, or GAiN-USA continues to spread the word about needs in Jamaica.

Many Jamaicans are living in desperately poor conditions and need assistance. As the GAiN teams meet the physical needs, they are able to share the Gospel with those they aid.

Global Aid Network’s outreach to Jamacia offers an economical way for believers to participate on a short-term mission trip where teams will make a difference in people’s lives.

This summer, July 22-29, 2006, they’re heading to a mountain community outside of Montego Bay where they’ll be involved in an outreach to single mothers with multiple children. Teams will provide basic supplies like clothing, fresh water, school supplies and food.

They’ll also be working with an orphanage and a detention center. The team also plans on helping to begin building a church in the region.
