SIM missionaries survive a night of terror.

Nigeria (MNN)–The SIM team in Nigeria is recovering after a robbery and abduction just one week ago.

According to SIM, armed robbers entered the compound at Kent Academy in Miango near Jos. When they left, they took the safe and abducted one of the SIM missionaries. He was returned without injury after some hours.

The purpose of Kent Academy is to disciple students so they might better fulfill God’s purpose for themselves, church, and society. This is done through the provision of an excellent education at the primary and junior secondary level that is Christian and relevant to the Nigerian context through the provision of a nurturing, loving, and learning environment in a Christian community of faith.

Please pray for this SIM family and their children, as well as a Nigerian couple who were also traumatized. Pray for wisdom for the SIM leaders and for calm and peace to return.
