(Philippines)–Meanwhile, a military strike against known terrorist Osama bin Laden could have dire consequences for American missionaries held in the Philippines. Martin and Gracia Burham were taken hostage back in May, and are believed held by members of Abu Sayyaf, some with ties to bin Laden. A military leader in the Philippines reportedly has received information that the group could harm the hostages in retaliation for military action taken against bin Laden.
