Next, a girl’s gift of $15,000 made it possible for tribal people in India to receive Bibles in their own language. The 15-year-old, whom Bibles for the World did not name, inherited a large amount of money. Due to her generosity, the Hmar tribe in northeastern India will now get an updated translation of the Bible in their own language. Rochunga Pudaite, president of Bibles for the World, played a major role in producing the new translation. Over the last 90 years, where there were savage headhunters, there are now thousands of believers.
