Next, after more than 50 years, Doctor Bill Bright is stepping down as Campus Crusade for Christ’s President. Bright, the founder of this international ministry, also announced his successor. 55-year-old Steve Douglas, who currently serves as executive vice president and director of U-S Ministries, was recommended by Bright and unanimously approved by the board. Douglas will assume his position August 1st of next year, at which time Bright will officially retire as president and serve as the chairman of the board.
