(India)–We begin today in India, where increasing persecution against Christians isn’t stopping the work of a radio ministry there. Insight For Living with Chuck Swindoll is continuing their work in the region. IFL’s International Director Rolla Goodyear says not only is their work continuing, but it’s expanding. “Currently in India we are broadcasting in six different languages, including an English broadcast. And, we are targeting, hopefully, to bring on Gujarati before to long, provided we can obtain sufficient funds to bring it on-line. ” Goodyear says the cost is small when you consider 44 million people will be able to hear the Gospel. “Right now because of our partnership with Trans World Radio there in India they have agreed not to charge us production costs, which is a big savings, so it would just be the air time in right now it would cost about five-thousand dollars per month.”
