(Nigeria)–Nigeria’s Vice President is urging traditional and religious leaders in the country to pray hard to ensure crisis-free elections come 2003. The call was made this weekend in Kano while visiting with other state dignitaries. The Vice President also commended the traditional and religious institutions for the role they play in ensuring peaceful co-existence in the country. Please pray that the testimony of Nigerian Christians and the church continues to make an impact on the country.
