(Germany)–Meanwhile, Christians in Germany are dismayed at their country’s election of socialists during local elections in Berlin. According to Idea News, the Party of Democratic Socialism gained more than 22-percent of the vote. East German evangelist Reverend Hans Joachim Marten calls the election results a ‘catastrophe’. He says it shows the poor spiritual situation of the three-point-five million Berliners. It’s unclear what the election results could mean for evangelism there.
